“Some personal news,” as they say. Today I filed and mailed papers to amicably dissolve my business partnership and permanently close Tight Ship Design. It was a tough call, but it was the right call and the right time for us to make it. Thanks to my co-captain Julia Sevin for her trust, patience, and enthusiasm. We learned a lot, notched some big accomplishments, and created great work. Thanks to everyone who worked with us and cheered us on, from the 805 to the 504 and everywhere in between.
So I’ll probably be in the market for the right contract-, part-time, or full-time (ideally remote and local) professional creative position that suits my 16+ years in the design biz, and staying freelance for the right projects in the meantime (so tell all your recruiter friends). I’ll also ramp up prepping Keirtography for prime time, because if you know me you know the maps don’t stop. Stay tuned.
