When the world’s entropy gets to me, one way I react is by creating little icons and blowing them up to t-shirt size (most recently last summer). Hence today’s creative impulse activity/purchase: a green/white Lute the Bodies tee (for my BG3/5e Tumblr blog) and lavender/black Minthara tee (for my favorite BG3 character).
It’s Redbubble stuff, so cheaply made, but it’s also less expensive than a concert shirt and more individualized to my personal tastes (most of the shirts with Purple Elf Lady on them are…unattractively designed in my opinion), and I’m justifying this frivolity with the freelance paycheck I just got.
Also (and this may sound laughably hubristic but whatever) since they’re just for me and I’m never gonna sell them, if you happen to see the one on the left end up anywhere else public, then know it’s been stolen:
Related: apparently there’s a prime opportunity next month for me to hop one time zone over to get Emma Gregory’s signature on my self-made Minthy shirt, but it’s also a weekend I’m absolutely unable to travel due to prior (good and fun!) commitments. So that’s a slight bummer.
